The official school day for students begins at 7:50 A.M. and ends at 2:05 P.M., except for Wednesdays when school ends at 12:25 P.M. Regular attendance is important. Students must be in school on time. However, some students are in school as early as 6:45 A.M. unsupervised.
Students must be dropped off at school close to 7:50 A.M. Students should be enrolled in morning care program if they are being dropped off early before 7:30 A.M. Breakfast is served from 7:15 A.M. – 7:45 A.M. Students who eat breakfast may remain in the cafeteria until they are excused by the breakfast supervisor at 7:45 A.M.
For your child's safety and well-being, please do not drop off your child before 7:30 A.M. Students in grades K-2 who are unsupervised tend to make wrong choices and end up in the office for disciplinary action or in the health room for medical attention.
