Take the time to talk to your child about the following safety precautions with your child/children:
- Do not talk to strangers
- Never accept a ride from a stranger or approach a suspicious vehicle
- Always inform a parent/guardian of whereabouts
- Get permission from parent/guardian prior to changing routine or route to or from school
- Stay on main roads/sidewalks
- Always walk with a buddy or in a group
- Go straight home after school. Do not linger on campus
- Be alert
- Report anything unusual
